Scope 3 Detail (PPN 06/21 Mandatory Subsets)
To comply with the technical standard, we provide the following breakdown for the five mandated Scope 3 categories:
1. Upstream Transportation & Distribution: 0 tCO2e. We do not purchase or transport physical goods.
2. Waste Generated in Operations: 0 tCO2e. We operate a 100% paperless environment.
3. Business Travel: 0.10 tCO2e. Minimal travel via public transport (rail) for essential meetings.
4. Employee Commuting: 0 tCO2e. All employees work from home full-time; no commuting occurs.
5. Downstream Transportation & Distribution: 0 tCO2e. We provide digital SaaS-based services only.
Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets:
Maintain a 100% Remote-First policy to ensure Scope 1, 2, and Commuting emissions remain at zero.
Prioritize the procurement of services from carbon-neutral SaaS providers to keep our supply chain impact minimal.
We project that our carbon emissions will remain stable or decrease relative to growth, targeting a 0% increase in tCO2e over the next 5 years despite business scaling.
Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
In the future, we hope to implement further measures such as a Sustainable Procurement Policy, where we will formally prioritize new SaaS vendors and hardware suppliers based on their verified Net Zero targets. We also plan to implement a laptop "circular economy" policy to extend the life of our remote-working hardware and reduce e-waste.
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard[1] and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting[2].
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard[3].
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
